Table of Contents
Caramel Apple Cookies Recipe
- Sugar cookie roll
- Caramel syrup
- Cream cheese frosting
- Chopped pecans
- Apples (I prefer Granny Smith)
- Lemon juice
Slice the cookie dough into rounds and place the rounds on a cookie sheet. I sliced mine about 1/4 inch thick.
Bake the cookies according to the package directions and allow to cool. In the meantime, chop up a couple of apples and coat with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
Start an assembly line to finish off your cookies. Add a layer of cream cheese frosting then finish with apples, pecans, and a drizzle of caramel syrup.
Get the kids involved in the making process. Once you bake the cookies, set up an assembly line and let your kids creatively create their own versions of these delicious cookies. Be sure to keep the Huggies® Wipes on the table to clean up the mess! Assembling these cookies can be really messy!
RememberHuggies® Wipes are theonly wipes that have Triple*layers that are gentle on skin. They are perfect for everyday messes including diving into a batch of these caramel apple cookies! These cookies are actually really messy so be sure to include a package ofHuggies® Wipes on the table when serving them as well.
We love these fall inspired cookies around here and I am sure you will as well!
These cookies are best served immediately so do not ice more than you will eat. You will want to eat several though so don’t leave too many without icing and all of those goodies stacked on top. Want more ideas on what to do with Huggies® Wipes? Be sure to check out my smore’s gift in a jar! Remember that Huggies® Wipes are perfect for cleaning up those everyday messes. We especially love the Clutch ‘n’ Clean refillable packs for keeping on hand at all times.
