DIY Backdrop
I’ve really been getting into using colored masking tape to create DIY backdrops lately. It’s such an easy and affordable material to use, and the possibilities are endless! For this geometric heart party, I created a giant geometric heart on my wall using red, blue, pink, and yellow masking tape.
Above it, I hung a balloon garland in the same colors, and added geometric glitter-filled heart stickers to some of them. I also added a few heart-shaped balloons to the garland for some extra Valentine’s flair.
Table Setting
I used a plain white table so that the colors I used in my table setting would really pop. In the center, I draped a color block felt heart and pom pom garland as a table runner. I found this in the Valentines section at Target.
Then, I set up four large pink geometric heart tumblers, one for each place setting. I found these at Papersource, they always have fantastic seasonal sippy tumblers! These are so much fun for drinking out of, but are also pretty enough to serve as centerpieces for my table.
Next, I layered geometric heart plates onto pale pink melamine chargers.
Then, I added color blocked heart napkins that perfectly complemented the color blocked hearts in the garland runner, and some red plastic utensils. Pink plastic wine glasses are perfect for water, and I adorned them with more of the geometric glitter heart stickers. For more geometric heart fun, I added overturned geometric heart cupcake liners that covered surprise heart candy treats. Lastly, I placed a bubble tube favor at each place. This entire setting is available in Target.
